Well Kate I was impressed with you as a human being (and a writer of course) before reading this now my admiration has skyrocketed. I know something of lugging children around our own bush block in the foothills of the Brisbane Ranges, (a couple of decades ago now) but to undertake your hike is next level. Bush raised children are the best !!!:)

WOW what a bloody journey and undertaking, to say the least! Incredible. I couldn’t fathom doing the same but you are right, they just need food, comfort and a clean bum. My guy did love to be close and be in the carrier so I’m sure he’d have been happy enough but I kept to journeys around our city based home instead 😆

What an inspiring story, I can't even begin to imagine the logistics of overnight hiking with a baby. The last time I went up frenchies I was 10 weeks pregnant and that was exhausting, but with a baby is next level!
