Glad you enjoyed this snippet, I remember reading somewhere that the smell of the rain is the soil breathing out, lovely to think it is doing just what we are: inhaling and exhaling

It sounds like a superb trip - including the inevitable pain, discomfort, occasional fear and sheer hard grinding effort. I know that well……

Have only been up to the Labyrinth once - on a single blissful day of fine weather after days of heavy rain sitting in a wet tent down in Pine Valley, but Ohhhh it was worth the wait….

To traverse the range - that’s a massive achievement, Kate.
